Of Counsel, Berid & Schutzbank, LLC

A note from Attorney Berid:

After close to forty years of practice as a lawyer, I have decided to change my status with the firm of Berid & Schutzbank.  I will no longer be a partner, and as I have for so many years, will no longer be there every day. Instead I will assume the position “of counsel” and see and take clients on a limited bases. I will limit my representation of clients to those matters that do not include contested matters.  I will still take: non-contested family matters, mediations and collaborative cases. This change took effect effective July 1, 2010.

It has been extremely gratifying to me, to first create the Law Office of Maxa S. Berid, and then to expand it to Berid & Schutzbank, LLC. The support that my colleagues and clients have shown me all these years has been wonderful. My partner, Eric Schutzbank will continue to run the firm of Berid  & Schutzbank. I will show up on occasion, as my clients need me, by appointment only. You can reach me by scheduling an appointment or sending me e-mail at my current address. For all other matters, I am certain that Eric will handle them for you in the manner that has come to exemplify our firm.

The beauty of this arrangement is that it will allow me the freedom to do work with various non-profit agencies in the Merrimack Valley, and go back to my roots.  In addition I will have time to travel, and work on the “bucket List” as the saying goes. I thank you all for your support over the years.
